Diamond Sisterhood Retreat
Women Helping Encouraging Women aka WHEW, Inc. is a 501(c)3 grassroots non-profit organization based in Northwest Ohio focused on creating a pleasant retreat for those impacted by trauma due to abuse (e.g., domestic violence, sexual violence, and child abuse).
We believe that collaboration within the community is key. In this spirit, we want to work with community partners in Ohio to provide evidence-based strategies to heal the devastating effects of trauma on the mind, body, and spirit.
Each individual is able to choose from a multitude of self-care programs that are proven to help, including massage, exercise, music, nutrition, and much more. We are experts in programming, but you are the expert of you. Together we can build a more resilient community!

Diamonds in the Rough
This retreat will be for youths through our T.I.K (Teens Inspiring Kids) program.
A diamond in the rough is someone who has potential, a person who will achieve success with the right care and polish. When a diamond is found in nature or in the rough, it needs the right care, cut, and polish in order to achieve its potential

During this retreat, our time together will be devoted to promoting individual development, bridging relationships amongst survivors, empowerment, and increasing awareness on mental health practices to encourage effective healing after trauma.

Angel's
This retreat is for family members, who loved ones have been murdered as a result of domestic violence. The Diamond Angel's Family Retreat allows these family members to come together and share their pain and their memories.
